Venues for a Corporate Holiday Party in Miami

The holiday season is right around the corner for local businesses in Miami and many offices are conducting their secret Santa drawings as we speak. However, many offices and businesses in Miami choose the same venues each and every year. Some businesses will even cancel their parties because their favorite venue or restaurant is booked. This year, your office should choose a totally different venue, like a luxury yacht.

A luxury yacht is an ideal venue for a corporate holiday party or corporate lunch party during the holiday season in Miami. They provide your company with a unique view of the entire Miami skyline while providing delicious gourmet prepared food. Luxury yachts also provide great experiences for your co-workers to share together.

During this holiday season, Biscayne Lady Yacht Charters will provide discounts for lunch cruises on specific days since most companies choose evening charters. “We look forward to getting companies and local businesses out of the office and onto Biscayne Bay,” states Patrick Young, Marketing Director for Biscayne Lady. “The holiday season is the most exciting time of the year, with the holiday parties and Winterfest Boat Parade, we are sailing daily,” Young explains.

It is quite amazing how many local residents have never experienced a luxury yacht cruising through Biscayne Bay. Even local resident and Miami native Catherine Ferreira explains, “My first luxury yacht experience was on the Biscayne Lady during 4th of July. I had a blast.” She continues, “I’ve been on boats before but never a luxury yacht with dinner and dancing.” Ferreira is a Marketing Coordinator for Deering Estate at Cutler.

Even if your office is small, there is a yacht for you. From offices with 3 or 4 employees to offices up to 400 passengers, Biscayne Lady Yacht Charters has a wide variety of vessels to choose from.

So don’t get stuck with the same venue that you choose last year. Think outside the land and choose a luxury yacht to host your next Miami corporate holiday party.

July 3, 2008

Dear Capt. Jay & the Biscayne Lady Staff,

I am writing in regards to my wedding aboard The Biscayne Lady on June 14, 2008. I do not think it would be possible for me to be any more pleased than I am as to how things went. Danny and the entire crew did a phenomenal job of making sure everything ran smoothly and that our guests’ every wish was catered to.

First, I’d like to commend the crew on the job that was done in drying off the yacht after the morning “monsoons”. My husband was on board that morning and told me afterwards of the puddles and sogginess of the carpets which was virtually gone by the time our guests arrived.

I cannot personally speak for the service before the wedding as I was hiding downstairs near the bathrooms, but I’ve heard nothing but good things. As soon as the ceremony was over, the staff did a great job of making sure everyone had a full drink and all the appetizers they wanted. They took especially good care of my new husband and me as we were “stuck” on the top deck taking photographs. They quickly learned we absolutely loved the crab cakes (and champagne) and were right there in between each photo op. The incredible service continued throughout the night, and I would like to especially thank the server who served Bill and I dinner (I’m sorry I do not remember her name), but she was very helpful and took away Bill’s original plate and brought him back a heaping plate of Seafood Newburg at his request. He was an extremely happy groom at that point! I’ll admit, I never looked closely at how the buffet was set up, but the food itself was phenomenal, and our guests were happy and raving about it!

I don’t have any other specific examples as I personally spent the rest of the evening on the dance floor. However, I can tell you I have heard over and over again that night and since then that we had the wedding that cannot ever be topped and that is because of the set-up, service and food you have on The Biscayne Lady Yacht. Planning the wedding in South Florida from Missouri was quite difficult at times and I had a horrible time choosing a venue, but the one thing I can say with absolute certainty is that if I had to do it all over again, I would skip all the venues I toured and immediately start with you.

If possible, please also pass along my thanks to Anthony and Ned from Mike Sipes. They, obviously, had a lot to do with how smoothly things went and did a great job of keeping the evening moving without pushing us to do things before we wanted to!

I would, without a moment’s hesitation, recommend The Biscayne Lady Yacht to other brides and/or anyone else planning a special event!

Thank you so much for making our day memorable, stress-free, and all around wonderful!!!!!!!!!

Lesley and Bill Schwalje
