Captain Sir!

This 2006 Island Packet 440, also known as the Captain Sir!, is an immaculately maintained cutter rigged sloop with many features to make either an afternoon or a week aboard most comfortable. Her spacious cockpit is 8 feet long, protected by a Bimini top, dodger, and removable connector between the two. All sails are roller furling plus all self-tailing winches make for easy sail handling. All lines are led to the cockpit for safety. The windless on deck makes for “no sweat” anchoring.

The feeling of bright, open spaciousness is conveyed immediately upon entering the cabin – air and natural light are generously provided with 15 opening ports and 8 hatches with built-in screens. Fans are thoughtfully placed over each bunk and in the galley for additional ventilation. The forward stateroom spans the entire beam of the yacht and features an unusually large head/shower area; the aft stateroom is equally inviting with cedar lined closets. The main salon features full length settees on both sides – the starboard one converting to a double berth.
