Formerly based in Honolulu, Captain Brian holds a U.S. Coast Guard Masters license (the highest rating ). When not sailing or scuba diving he is an international Pilot flying a Boeing 777 for a "Major U.S. Airline".

Kai Malia accommodates 6 guests comfortably on a day cruise and up to 4 guests overnight. She has a large queen-bed aft cabin with private shower, head and flat-panel satellite TV with DVD. The forward guest cabin also has its own private head.

Kai Malia has a 11' dinghy with a 15hp. motor for exploring shallow reefs. Freshwater shower FWD, AFT, and on the large swim platform. Bimini top; large cold-plate refrigerator; Stereo/CD 4 zones; 2 TV's; VCR; DVD; 2 GPS chart-plotters; Auto-pilot; 2 zone air-conditioning; inverter for 110v power.
